Bringing Clean Water to Kailahun Communities
Access to clean water is a basic necessity, yet many residents of Kailahun face daily challenges in securing safe drinking water. This scarcity poses significant health risks, impedes education, and hinders economic growth.
The K2 Generation (K2G) is committed to addressing these needs. Founder Lyande Kaikai emphasises the importance of meeting basic necessities, stating, “Without the basics, people can't function or contribute to society. Let’s focus on the basic needs of our people so they can thrive.”
Through the support of private donors, K2G has developed essential water infrastructure in Kailahun, focusing on remote areas. In just three months, the Project Managers, Hon. Navo Kaikai and Mr Sulaiman Kaikai, employed local engineers and constructed one borehole and three water wells.
